Tolles Offering Free Metal Arc Welding Program for Eligible Students Starting July 2025

​Tolles Career & Technical Center is now enrolling adult learners for its Metal Arc Welding Program, set to begin on July 15, 2025. This hands-on training opportunity is part of a 200-hour program that can be completed in just four months—and it's entirely free for eligible students.

The program is designed to prepare individuals for in-demand welding careers and is open to adults seeking new skills or

a fresh start in the manufacturing industry. Tolles is partnering with Central Ohio Manufacturing Partnership (COMP), OhioMeansJobs Columbus-Franklin County, and other community organizations to make this opportunity possible.

Participants will gain practical experience in a range of metal arc welding techniques and be taught by skilled instructors in a fully equipped training facility.
