The evening is a chance for friends, families, and supporters to enjoy a great meal while backing a great cause.
Hosted locally in partnership with Madison County Vineyard Church and London First United Methodist Church, the Night to Shine event is part of a global initiative started by the Tim Tebow Foundation in 2015. Each February, Night to Shine provides a prom experience centered on God’s love for people with special needs—complete with red carpet moments, dinner, dancing, and the crowning of every guest as a king or queen. As the event grows each year, local organizers are tasked with fundraising to cover the costs of creating a memorable, joy-filled experience for guests and their families. While past years included grants from the Tim Tebow Foundation ($6,000 in year one, $4,000 in year two), the 2025 grant is expected to be just $2,000. To maintain the high-quality experience, local fundraising—like the Dine-to-Donate night—is essential. “Every donation goes directly toward putting on a magical evening that uplifts and celebrates individuals with special needs,” say organizers. Community members are encouraged to mark their calendars, bring their appetites, and support the cause on July 15. To learn more or get involved, visit the Night to Shine London Facebook page.
