New Grounds Coffee House Opens in Uptown Plain City

Bringing Smooth Coffee, Local Pastries, and Good Vibes to the Clocktower Building

The Village of Plain City welcomed a new addition to its Uptown district this week as New Grounds Coffee House officially opened its third location on Wednesday at 135 E. Main Street.

Situated in the iconic Clocktower building, the cozy, family-owned coffee shop features a drive-thru on the east side of the building, accessible via Bigelow Avenue. Owners Juli and Tom Willbarger say they’re thrilled to bring their signature blend of good vibes and great coffee to the growing Plain City community.

New Grounds Coffee House is known for serving up Crimson Cup Coffee along with a variety of tasty treats from beloved regional favorites—including pastries from Der Dutchman and bagels from Sammy’s Bagels.

Current hours for the Plain City location are:

• Monday–Thursday: 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
