Mt. Sterling Community Center Fun Run/Walk Set for Oct. 12

​​The “Mount Sterling Community Center Fun Run & Walk” supports the programs and activities of the Mt. Sterling Community Center, which serves the Mt. Sterling and surrounding areas.  This includes but is not limited to our food pantry, produce markets, summer youth activities, youth and adult sports, youth and adult sewing and crafts, meetings, clubs and much more.

Join us for a beautiful fall morning 5K Run or Walk through the village and countryside, or a one-mile fun walk through the village and back, or join in virtually and complete your run/walk at your leisure!  Make it more fun by creating a team made up from your family, friends and/or coworkers!

Sat. Oct. 12, 2024, 9:15 a.m. One-mile fun walk through the village and back
 
Door Prizes!!! 
Bring in-date non-perishable food items or personal care products for the Community Center Food Pantry and receive an entry ticket for the door prize drawing (limited to 10 tickets per person).

• Prizes will be awarded for 1st place in the 5K run and 5K walk in for both adult and youth.
• Beverages and treats will be offered at the Center before and after the event.
• Trophies will be awarded to the businesses or organizations for the largest team and for the most donations.
• Goodie bags will be distributed to our participants.
• After the event, visit the amazing Village shops for coffee, drinks, great eats and fun shops!

 
Your registration fees help enable us to fulfill our mission of helping others in our community, as well as cover the cost of the race day t-shirts.  Additional donations to support your run/walk from your family, friends and co-workers sponsoring you further helps the Center to continue the programs and activities that are offered, as well as add new ones.

Your enrollment information must be received at the Center no later than Fri., Sep. 20, 2024 to insure that you receive a beautiful race day t-shirt.  Online registration will be open through Fri. Oct. 11 and registration forms will be available at the Center, however, shirts may not be available.
