Mount Sterling Community Center's 11th Annual “Cans for a Cause” Challenge Nears the Finish Line

The Mount Sterling Community Center (MSCC) would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated to the 2024 Cans for a Cause Food Drive so far. Your support has made a significant impact in helping local families this holiday season and beyond.

With December already halfway over, there’s still time to make a difference! The MSCC will continue to collect shelf-stable food items, self-care products, and monetary donations through December 31, 2024. Whether you prefer to shop for canned goods or contribute financially, every bit of help ensures that our friends and neighbors have what they need as we head into the new year.

This year marks the 11th Annual “Cans for a Cause” Challenge, and the center’s goal is to gather 3,500 items by the end of December. Donations of items such as canned vegetables, fruits, soups, pastas, meats, stews, and personal care items are especially appreciated. Monetary donations are also welcome for those who prefer to let MSCC handle the shopping.

As the need for assistance grows, the MSCC relies on the generosity of its volunteers and community members to ensure that no one goes hungry this season.
