The 50-gallon tank, donated by the Master Gardeners last season, has been a game-changer for MATCO’s gardening efforts. “No more carrying milk jugs of water back and forth,” staff shared in appreciation. The easy-to-use setup helps participants care for the garden more efficiently while learning about sustainability and food production.
In addition to their outdoor efforts, the MATCO team is hard at work preparing a collection of tie-dyed creations for the Lions Club Summer Bash. These colorful, handmade items are always a favorite at community events and showcase the creativity and skill of individuals involved in the MATCO program. As always, MATCO’s mission shines through in everything they do—offering meaningful activities that promote independence, skill-building, and community connection. With the garden growing and the Summer Bash ahead, the season is shaping up to be full of color, care, and collaboration. Not receiving our content regularly?
