Madison-Plains Local School District Seeks Community Input on Future Facilities Plans

​The Madison-Plains Local School District Board of Education is seeking valuable community input regarding the future of district facilities. As dedicated stewards of taxpayer dollars, the Board is committed to ensuring that all students receive the highest quality education while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

Since 2020, the Board has hosted numerous public meetings to discuss the current state of district facilities. Now, they are considering utilizing district funds to construct new facilities. While this action would not immediately result in additional taxes, it may require the district to request

additional operating funds sooner than originally anticipated. The last new operating revenue for the district was approved in 2018 with the passage of the earned income tax, and another need for additional revenue is estimated around 2028.

To ensure transparency and gather community feedback, the Board has scheduled a Special Board Meeting on April 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the High School Library at 800 Linson Rd, London, Ohio. All community members are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts.
