London Public Library Announces the Return of Story Time Programs Starting September 10th

​The London Public Library is excited to announce the return of its beloved Story Time programs starting September 10th. These programs, designed to engage young children in early literacy activities, will take place every Tuesday morning, offering a wonderful opportunity for both toddlers and preschoolers to enjoy stories, songs, and educational fun.

Toddler Time is specifically tailored for children aged 0-3 years. Held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., each session focuses on

a unique theme that is explored through books, songs, and finger plays. These activities not only introduce young children to the joy of reading but also help boost their early literacy skills. Toddler Time is filled with music and movement, making it a lively and interactive experience for the little ones.

​Preschool Story Time is perfect for children aged 3-6 years and will run from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Similar to Toddler Time, Preschool Story Time also revolves around weekly themes, using books, songs, and finger plays to engage children and reinforce the topic of the day. In addition to the regular story time activities, preschoolers will have the opportunity to practice the alphabet with a special letter activity after the main session.

These programs are a fantastic way for young children to develop early literacy skills in a fun and supportive environment. The London Public Library invites all families with children in these age groups to join in the fun every Tuesday morning starting September 10th.
