Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.), the department joined a network of organizations across Ohio opening their doors to young learners. The visit gave students a behind-the-scenes look at law enforcement and how it intersects with S.T.E.A.M. principles in real-world ways. School Resource Officer Langham served as the guide for the day, giving students an engaging tour of the department while demonstrating how technology and science play a vital role in modern policing—from communication systems and fingerprinting to crime scene analysis and data tools used in daily operations. Officers were all smiles as they answered questions, showed off equipment, and shared how the values of curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork extend far beyond the classroom and into public service careers.
