Invasive Species Control Workshop Set for October 2 in Madison County

Madison County residents are invited to attend a hands-on workshop focused on identifying and controlling invasive species. The event will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 5:00–6:00 p.m. at the Gwynne Conservation Area, 690 Arbuckle Rd NW, London, OH 43140.

Hosted by OSU Extension in partnership with the Madison Soil and Water Conservation District, the workshop will cover the most current invasive plants and insects impacting Ohio’s landscapes. Attendees will learn effective methods to manage these species and protect natural ecosystems.

An optional ID walkabout will be held immediately after the workshop from 6:00–6:30 p.m., giving participants the chance to put their new knowledge into practice in the field.
