Battle of the Cans: Food Drive Competition Between Alder and London Schools

​The much-anticipated Battle of the Cans food drive is back, and it’s a chance for the communities of Alder and London to come together and support those in need. Running from September 30th to October 4th, students, families, and community members are encouraged to drop off non-perishable food items at their schools.This friendly competition aims to see which district can collect the most food donations, with all items benefiting local families in need. Every donation goes directly back into the community, making a difference in the lives of those around us.
The district that collects the most food will receive a trophy, with the winner being announced on October 4th during the Alder vs. London football game.
Suggested Collectible Items:

• Ramen
• Crackers
• Protein Bars
• Granola Bars
• Oatmeal
• Canned Pasta
• Applesauce
• Peanut Butter

How to Participate: Simply bring your non-perishable food items to your school anytime between September 30th and October 4th. Help your district come out on top while making a meaningful impact in your community.
The Battle of the Cans is hosted in partnership with Bridges Community Action Partnership, working together to support those in need. So, rally your friends, family, and neighbors to participate in this friendly competition!
