from local musicians, including solo performances by Dan Kennedy and his son David Kennedy, as well as a bluegrass band led by Billy Shek, Hillbilly Chic, and the London School Choir. The festival will also feature a unique "Sheep to Shawl" demonstration, showcasing the process of shearing sheep, spinning, and dyeing wool.
In addition to the artistic displays and musical performances, the festival will include food trucks, artisan vendors, and interactive activities including the magician Magic Nate. The event is free to attend and supported by the mayor's office. Organizers hope that "Arts on the Green" will become an annual event, helping to establish the London Art Center as a cultural hub in the area. The center offers a range of programs, including evening classes, open studio sessions, and a writers' group. For more information, visit the London Art Center's website at londonartscenter.org or follow them on Facebook. Stay tuned for more details as the event date approaches.
