While the Style Icon contest includes prizes such as a feature in Flaunt Magazine, an invitation to Versace’s 2026 Show at Milan Fashion Week, and a $20,000 award, Scott says his focus is not on fame or money—it’s about being a force for good. “The reason I decided to join this campaign was to be a local and nationwide hero,” Scott shared. “I always want to give back to my community, especially to those ill and in need. The Elton John AIDS Foundation is a powerful foundation, and I’m honored to be a part of it.” The Elton John AIDS Foundation is one of the world’s leading independent AIDS organizations, dedicated to ending the epidemic through education, prevention, and support. For Scott, this mission hits close to home. “We must put an end to the AIDS virus,” he said. “If we all come together, we can make a beautiful and powerful impact—allowing individuals suffering from this virus to actually have a chance at living and being healthy. In a world full of chaos, step up to be a hero. We must show up for those in need, as we would want the same love and support in return.” Scott’s heartfelt advocacy and determination have already earned him attention both locally and nationwide. His journey through the Face of Halloween campaign, which raised money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, showed his dedication to uplifting those facing illness and adversity. Now, through Style Icon, he continues that mission—using his voice to unite and inspire. “Being a good person, being a good soul is absolutely free,” Scott added. “It is never about winning for me. I want those suffering and in need to ultimately win. Let’s stand together as one world and make a difference. Let’s change the world.” The Style Icon 2025 charitable campaign began on October 6th, 2025, and the final winner will be announced on or before December 26th, 2025. “On October 25th, I chose to join this beautiful and powerful movement called HYPE WOMEN,” Scott shared. “Erin Gallagher and Jamie Lee Curtis have inspired me to be myself — not to allow systems and others to silence my voice or my dreams. This movement allows you to hype and be hyped, by women supporting each other, having each other’s backs, and standing together.”
Scott also shared that joining the movement marked a deeply personal milestone in their life. “Since I was a young child, I have always known I was different, and over the years, I have been silenced for it,” they said. “In my heart, I have always felt that I was a woman, and I always will feel that. As of October 25th, I chose to take all of my power back and break free from everything that held me back from fighting for my hopes and dreams. Identifying as a Non-Binary individual, this book and movement allow me to fully love myself and strip away all negative forces that were holding me down. I want others to feel this same power so that we may all join this beautiful and powerful movement together.” The HYPE WOMEN movement can be found on Instagram at @erin.gallag.her, @hypewomenforharris, and @we_hypewomen. The book HYPE WOMEN is available on all major platforms. “If I can inspire others to join this powerful movement, we can change the world,” Scott said. “It’s about love, empowerment, and giving everyone the courage to be who they truly are.” A Mission of Empowerment and Heart Whether it’s raising awareness for global health through the Elton John AIDS Foundation or uplifting others through the HYPE WOMEN movement, Justin “Boo” Scott continues to embody compassion, resilience, and authenticity. Their journey is a reminder that leadership isn’t about titles or trophies—it’s about using your voice to bring light, hope, and unity to others. “At the end of the day,” Scott shared, “being a hero means standing up for love, truth, and the people who need it most. That’s the kind of change I want to create in this world.” Not receiving our content regularly? Make sure to FOLLOW US on Facebook and SIGN UP to get weekly recaps sent directly to your inbox.
