After months of behind-the-scenes planning, dreaming, and dedication, the newly formed group is stepping into the spotlight with a mission to uplift and

energize the heart of Plain City. Inheriting the legacy of the former Uptown Plain City Organization (UPCO), GoUptown! pays tribute to the years of tireless work that helped shape the downtown area into the beloved community hub it is today.

“While our logo and branding are still in progress, we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and share our vision,” the team announced on social media. “We’re deeply grateful for UPCO’s years of dedication, and we hope to build on their incredible foundation.”

Led by a team of local business owners, community partners, and the Village of Plain City, GoUptown! aims to celebrate the businesses, events, and energy that make Uptown so vibrant. Whether it's highlighting local eateries, promoting shopping experiences, or supporting signature events, the group is committed to sharing the stories that define Uptown’s unique character.

The name GoUptown! is more than a title — it’s a call to action. It encourages residents and visitors alike to explore, connect, and celebrate all that Uptown Plain City has to offer.
