First up is “Good Dogs, Bad Names,” a fun and heartwarming adoption initiative that puts a spotlight on some lovable dogs with hilariously unfortunate names. The campaign encourages families to “save a dog from a ridiculous name” and give them a fresh start in a forever home.

Members of the London High School FFA chapter were recently recognized for earning their Greenhand Degree, an important milestone for first-year FFA members that signifies their commitment to agricultural education and leadership.

The London FFA Chapter recently competed in the sub-district Food Science Career Development Event, where members demonstrated their knowledge of food science principles, product evaluation, and industry practices. The contest challenged students to apply critical thinking and teamwork skills in a variety of food-related activities.

​Each year, the National FFA Organization honors FFA members who show the utmost dedication to the organization through their desire to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.

Emily Mathews, a member of the London FFA chapter, was awarded the American FFA Degree at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo on November 1, 2025.. After being recognized at the national convention, each recipient of the American FFA Degree receives a gold American FFA Degree key and certificate.

​The FFA Chapter of London, Ohio, has been recognized in 2025 National Chapter Award Program from the National FFA Organization. They were given a 3-star ranking. Truly a mark of their exceptionalism, less than 10% of chapters nationwide are given a ranking from the National FFA Organization.

The program recognizes outstanding FFA chapters from throughout the country that actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. These chapters improve chapter operations using the National Quality FFA Chapter Standards and a Program of Activities that emphasizes growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture. Chapters are rewarded for providing educational experiences for the entire membership.
