Job Description of Open Position
Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center is looking for a student aide for an elementary room in Madison Plains. The position entails working one on one with an individual student. Other duties: supervising students, attending to physical, personal, academic and emotional needs and providing students with a positive, nurturing guide.
To be successful as a paraprofessional, you should demonstrate patience, compassion, and empathy when dealing with students, as well as professionalism when representing the school. You should have strong management and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ideal candidates will possess the spirit of leading with a servant’s heart.

Assignment 
7 hours/day
5 days/week
188 days/year (prorated this year)

Minimum Qualifications 
Valid ODE Aide Permit (may apply after being selected)
Satisfactory results on criminal records check including fingerprints required
Candidate must be credentialed in Non-violent Crisis Intervention OR be able
