Madison County Public Health Hiring Full-Time Registered Nurse

Madison County Public Health is currently accepting applications for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join its team of dedicated professionals serving the health needs of the community. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact through a variety of public health nursing services, including immunizations, communicable disease management, and reproductive health care.

The role requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a competitive pay range of $20.00 to $33.00 per hour and full benefits eligibility.
Job OverviewThe RN will be responsible for delivering a wide range of clinical services, such as:

• Administering vaccines for all age groups
• Managing vaccine inventory and related reporting
• Providing care related to tuberculosis, head lice checks, vision and hearing screenings, and chronic disease screenings
• Supporting communicable disease case management
• Offering reproductive and sexual health services
• Conducting wellness screenings and occasional home visits
• Filling in for school nursing as needed

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the RN will contribute to community outreach, develop educational materials, participate in emergency preparedness, assist in grant applications, and represent the agency at local events and meetings.

QualificationsCandidates must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio. While a bachelor’s degree in nursing and experience in public health or school nursing is preferred, applicants with strong clinical and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
