Madison County Department of Family and Children Seeks Early Intervention Service Coordinator

The Madison County Department of Family and Children is currently hiring for a full-time Early Intervention Service Coordinator to support families of children from birth to age 3 through in-home and virtual visits, service planning, and community resource coordination.

Based at the department’s office at 200 Midway Street in London, the Service Coordinator will play a vital role in helping families navigate early childhood

intervention services. The position involves assisting with the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), conducting home visits, initiating referrals, and ensuring compliance with state timelines and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting in-person and virtual visits with families
• Helping develop and monitor Individualized Family Service Plans
• Coordinating services with healthcare and early intervention providers
• Submitting data to the statewide EIDS database
• Supporting transitions to other programs and completing required documentation
• Participating in public awareness and child find activities

Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of early childhood development and intervention services, as well as the ability to work with families from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds.

Qualifications include:

• Associate degree (required); Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of three years experience working with children birth to age 3
• Ability to obtain Early Intervention Service Coordinator credential
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with diverse family systems and social service coordination
