Madison-Champaign ESC Seeks Paraprofessional for Norwood Elementary in West Jefferson

​The Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center (ESC) is now accepting applications for a Paraprofessional to support a student at Norwood Elementary School in West Jefferson, Ohio. This part-time classroom aide position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in a student's daily educational experience.

​With a schedule of 3.5 hours per day (8:00 AM–11:30 AM), Monday through Thursday, this role is ideal for candidates seeking a flexible, impactful position in education. The ESC is looking for individuals who exhibit patience, compassion, empathy, and the spirit of leading with a servant’s heart.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
The paraprofessional will assist with classroom activities, support student learning, and help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and organizational abilities
• A professional attitude and willingness to collaborate with school staff
  
  

Minimum qualifications include:

• A valid ODE Aide Permit (can be applied for after selection)
• A satisfactory criminal background check
  
  

The start date is as soon as possible, and training or orientation will be provided.
