Madison-Champaign ESC Seeks Attendance Officer to Serve Madison County Schools

The Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center (ESC) is now hiring for the position of Attendance Officer to support school districts throughout Madison County. This part-time role is set to begin on August 6, 2025.

​The Attendance Officer will work 10–20 hours per month, with travel required between school sites in Madison County.

The role plays a key part in ensuring student attendance, supporting district policies, and helping maintain connections between families and schools.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Valid Ohio Department of Education license or permit
• Valid State of Ohio driver’s license
• Clear criminal background check
• Prior experience in schools, the judicial system, or law enforcement preferred

The Madison-Champaign ESC is looking for candidates who are committed, dependable, and capable of working collaboratively with school administrators and families to address attendance concerns.
