Humane Society of Madison County Hiring Full- and Part-Time Animal Care Attendants

The Humane Society of Madison County (HSMC) is now accepting applications for two Animal Care Attendant positions: one full-time (36.5 hours per week) and one part-time (24 hours per week). These roles offer a rewarding opportunity to work hands-on with shelter animals, providing daily care and support in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Animal Care Attendants play a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of the animals at the shelter. Responsibilities include feeding and cleaning, monitoring health and behavior, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing enrichment to both dogs and cats.

Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Applicants must be able to multitask, communicate effectively, and be physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A flexible schedule is required, including availability on weekdays, alternating weekends, and rotating holidays.
